Why choose us
This isn’t a cookie-cutter massage chain school. We’re local, independent, and run by people who still see clients themselves. That means we don’t just know what works. We live it. You’ll get personalized attention, real-world prep, and a supportive learning environment where nobody’s just a number. From day one, we see you as a future healer, not a tuition payment. If you’re looking for a school that keeps it real and actually cares about your success, welcome to Carolina School of Bodywork.
Experienced
Our qualified and experienced instructors will pass on their knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and what that means for massage.
Hands-On Practice
Extensive time will be spent hands-on, practicing the knowledge learned from studying and perfecting technique
On-The-Job Experience
During this 8-month program, students will practice massage on the public in an on-campus internship gaining valuable experience before graduation.
Our Mission
We’re here to help you build a career that doesn’t make you dread Mondays. One where you actually get to help people, grow as a human, and make a real difference. We believe in learning by doing, creating community, and teaching the kind of grounded, compassionate bodywork that keeps clients coming back. Our mission is simple. We train therapists who are skilled, self-aware, and ready to show up with both hands and heart. Bonus: you’ll probably find some lifelong friends along the way.

When we say locally owned, we mean it.
At most institutions, you will never meet the Owner or Director. They will likely never know your name or your story. Our Founder and Director, Dana Ball, is a local Licensed Massage Therapist that lives and works in the Lowcountry. Her team will be just as dedicated as you are to making sure you are successful.
Do you offer scholarships?
YES! $2000 scholarships are available for the 2025-2026 Day and Night courses. Applicants need 2 letters of recommendation and need to be ready and committed to start classes in 2025-2026. Scholarships are dependent upon successful completion of the course and fulfilling financial obligations for the remainder of tuition.
