Massage Therapy Training Program
Massage Therapy is the 13th fastest growing profession according to the SC Department of Employment and Workforce. The Bureau of Labor Statistics is projecting a job growth of 20% over the next decade.
Massage Therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues. It can be performed through clothing, or directly on tissues. Massage can be a powerful tool in someone’s care and can be used as a standalone treatment or in addition to chiropractic, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and pain management programs.
Massage Therapy has been shown to reduce pain and stress, increase relaxation, and improve immune function. Massage Therapists can work for themselves, inspire tranquility in a spa setting, and work in healthcare offices. Massage is being recommended more by physicians to help curb the opioid epidemic.
