- 650 clock hours in Anatomy & Physiology, Kinesiology, Massage Theory, Ethics and Professionalism, Pathologies, Benefits and Physiological effects and Massage techniques including basic swedish, advanced neuromuscular skills and more.
- On-site clinical internship open to the public
- Full time hours are M-F 9:00-2:00, Part time hours are M-Th 5:30pm-9:30pm
- Tuition is $11,000 ($10,775 tuition, $100 administrative fee, $20 criminal background check, $65 MBLEx practice exam, $40 for two school shirts).

Carolina School of Bodywork was started by a local Licensed Massage Therapist who lives and works in the Lowcountry. She is dedicated to being hands-on by mentoring students and instructors, inside and outside the classroom. Her team will be just as dedicated as you are to making sure you are successful.
Do you offer Scholarships?

What Happens After Graduation?
Completion of the program will allow graduates to sit for the MBLEx administered by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB). The MBLEx is the exam of choice by South Carolina and most states that have regulations for Massage. The MBLEx costs $265 for registration, and the fee for SC Licensure is $150. We will be here to support you through this process.
Do Massage Therapists Make Good Money?
The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that Massage Therapists earned $46,910 on average in 2021. The highest 10% earned more than $77,600. Massage Therapists have opportunities to work in a variety of different environments. They can work in Chiro offices, private practices, Spas, Cruise Ships, Franchises, and more.

Our qualified and experienced instructors will pass on their knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and more, and what that means for massage.

Hands-On Practice
Extensive time will be spent hands-on, practicing the knowledge learned from studying and perfecting technique.

On-the-Job Experience
During this 8-month program, students will practice massage on the public in an on-campus internship.
